NEWMUSICMONDAY: Game, ProfessorGreen, JamieWoon, PeterBjorn&John, LittleBird,

Two pretty hardcore DUBSTEP (ish...) tracks, and two flirty POP tracks for you this fine Monday.
And I am kinda stuck in the male music world currently. Where have all the ladies gone?
I hear M.I.A is going to be releasing a new album (even though she has "retired"). I think she is going to do a Jay-Z comeback ala The Blueprint 3 and his new collaboration record with Kanye West called Watch The Throne.

But hey, I aint complaining, I love my Rockefella King and _M_I_A_ :)
On to the tracks, tell me what you think of them.
:::::::TWITTER ME::::::

1. JAMIE WOON - NIGHT AIR
I started you off softly, this song has all the element of a great pop song.
Amazing voice (some might sexy even), infectious voice and great beat!
Jamie Woon hails from the UK and is part of a great list of artists at POLYDOR.
I'm telling you know, this guy is going to be big, so start loving his songs now before it becomes the cool thing ;) You wont regret it. Check out Jamie Woon's official website here.

2. PETER BJORN & JOHN - SECOND CHANCE
I honestly thought this was the resurgence of Abba. But its not, Peter Bjorn and John are hell of a lot better! This song is equally as poppy and infectious.
AND THATS WHAT THE SWEDES DO BEST
If Abba is anything to go by ...Lykke Li being the only exception here I think haha.
Frig, seriously.. any song with a cowbell in it I AM SOLD.
And also you have to check out their blog - its freakin hilarious!!!

3. HOLY GHOST! - DO IT AGAIN
I wasn't going to include this one, but I think its just wayyyy to cool not to. Perfect balance of pop and indie and electronic (whaa??) I dare you to listen to this track by Holy Ghost! and not bop your head! Do do do do do it again! Do it again!
And the little instrumental break - ahhh so infectious (yes the word of the day is infectious!)

4. GAME - RED NATION
An anthem, it doesnt compare to Power by Kanye but its most definitely an anthem!
Makes me wont fist pump the ceiling down. And I think it was a great choice for Game to get Lil Wayne to do the chorus (dnt know if this was a deliberate choice or not, regardless) it really balances out the song. Cause I think it can get a little bass'y and one dimensional. But it isnt and I love it. So this is for all the hip hop lovers among us :)

5. PROFESSOR GREEN - MONSTER (CAMO & KROOKED REMIX)
"I give you everything you ever need, and I'll find a way to turn you into a Monster"
I respect and love Professor Green. I think he is helping to close the gap in the English hip hop scene - or really the indie hip hop scene. I mean from what I hear Drake is filling all the charts over there.. and I dont know about you but Drake really isn't what I defined as hip hop... :S (oooooh controversy!)

"Me and you, we could rule the world. Cause no one will mess with me, I'm a monster"
I am in love with the dubstep remix by Camo & Krooked I think its genius, cause it still has the original version synced in beautifully with the dubstep, but if you want to hear Professor Green's original version of Monster its the video directly below.

I LOVE THEM BOTH EQUALLY ;)

I have definitely noticed that my posting on these new music finds and sharing has opened up heaps of discussions and has inspired my friends to share with me their new music finds.
And thats what this is all about.

SHARING IS CARING.

SO, LEAVE ME A COMMENT ON WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF THIS WEEK'S PICKS AND WHY NOT SUGGEST ME SOME MUSIC THAT YOU THINK I SHOULD LISTEN TO :D
