Amped+Dangerous: so close yet so far.

I kid you not gang, I actually came in contact with YSL Arty ring yesterday, but not only this precious jewel, but other pieces of jewelery I dream of owning, just sprawled across the styling table including Erin Wasson's stuff and A BLACK FELT FLOPPY HAT!. You should know by now my obsession with finding the perfect hat, click here my friends, or even here.
SIDE NOTE: I HAVE DECIDED THE PERFECT FLOPPY HAT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND.
PARTLY BECAUSE I FOUND THE MOST ADORABLE STRAW HAT - WITH A KHAKI BAND, AT THE MANLY MARKETS LAST WEEKEND. IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD.
IT WAS OVERSIZED AND JUST PERFECT. AND CHEAP. I THINK I AM SOLD.

ANYWAY...I was so close to being a petty thief in regards to the jewelery spread at the shoot.
I was at a photo shoot for Beginning Boutique Thursday morning helping them shoot their product images. It was a great day. Starting off with me venturing into railway land (I almost never catch the train) but I had to in order to get to the studio. I was pretty proud of myself, thanks to Google Maps I got there on time, and I didnt jump on the wrong train or anything. It was an achievement.

The shoot itself was a great concept, borrowing themes from Nasty Gal and Gary Pepper Vintage, the girls looked beautiful and the clothes looked amazing. I did all the makeup and hair styling for the shoot, and also lent my sartorial hands for some of the styling. The atmosphere was calm, fun and collaborative. Everyone putting their two cents in, and it did help that pretty chilled music was hooked in. I am really excited to see the finished product :D. I will make sure I link it once its up and running.
The awesome Miann Scanlan from Fashion Falsehood was there with me, except she got to be in front of the camera. Hahaha.. This shot of her below was sooooo funny. We have a lot of fun together. Lol.

But yes, I saw the beautiful Arty ring, in all its lushness.
The other model/photography Madeline had the most amazing jewellery collection including the YSL and some of Erin Wasson jewellery.
I was soooo excited to see all of it there, right in front of me, in arms reach. It was a moment.
