NEWMUSICMONDAY: DJANGO, ESPERANZA, CHIDDY BANG & BEN L'ONCLE SOUL

Hi Hi Hi, How are we all???
No fluff today, I have four great tracks for you today. So lets get straight in to this week's edition of NewMusicMonday.

1. DJANGO DJANGO - DEFAULT

I first heard this on International Radio Day. And side then have not gotten it out of my head. Super catchy tune with amazing guitar riffs - can you blame me? Only fault was the band name, I was spelling it J-ANGO J-ANGO.. only to find out it did not exits. So I was super glad that Triple J found it and hinted at the correct spelling: Django Django. A band from and based in London, I am keen to get my hands on more Django Django action, have enlisted my friend living in Scotland/UK to help a sista out ; ) !!!
You can actually get a free download from Django Django on their Facebook here.

2. ESPERANZA SPALDING - ESPERA

You can thank me later for introducing you to the beautiful and talented Esperanza Spalding. If you aren't digging the soulful sounds of Esperanza, get your head checked... cause you might be missing something. I last wrote about Esperanza Spalding here, where she won Best New Artist. This song is my favourite of hers and makes me want to just close my eyes and sway. Its a swaying good song. Definitely check out the live version of this track, where Esperanza performs it at the Noble Peace Prize ceremony -  or more recently, her version of What A Wonderful World at The Oscars.

3. BEN L'ONCLE SOUL - SEVEN NATION ARMY

Yes its a cover, but its a new core and its awesome!!! I love the original White Stripes track, but Ben L'Oncle Soul does a great version. Thank you to my lovely friend Manelle who shared the music love with me on this guy. I am seriously in love with Ben L'Oncle Soul. He is French, with beautiful hair and a killer voice. The perfect man really. What do you think of the cover?

4. CHIDDY BANG - WHATEVER WE WANT

Ohhhhhh I am so excited! I think this is Chiddy Bang's best album yet! This song and my other favourite, Breakfast, has definitely making me wanting Chiddy Bang's album: Breakfast. A pretty catchy beat and some killer/punchy rhymes, which Chiddy Bang's lead singer Chidera is known for. Kinda upset that they pulled out from Groove in The Moo, cause they are known to be great live performers. So here's hoping they'll come back to Oz (or I catch them in NYC).

How was your Monday people?
Did you have a great start to the working week?
